Heat treatment / ISPM-15

The requirement of the heat treatment of wooden products has been introduced in order to protect forests against pests from other countries. It encourages the safe use of timber packaging worldwide. At PPUH Company LTD we have drying chambers for wood, which allows for drying both elements and ready pallets. According to the Phytosanitary Standard No. 15 (ISPM-15/IPPC), our company has a certificate allowing for the heat treatment of wooden products.

Each time we deliver heat treated pallets we also handed to our customers a certificate identifying the origin of products and confirming compliance of the batch of devices with the requirements of the IPPC standard.
